On the winning side

Some time we tend to live in the past, dwelling on our many failures, "what ifs,"or the good ole days. Others may concentrate on the future, envisioning new projects and large-scale plans with only sleep interrupting their dreams of future successes. We make conscious efforts, little by little, step by step, day by day, to see little or no progress yet we gain insight into areas of our lives that we know need improvement. Because of this sometimes we are embarrassed or ashamed that we act selffishly, we do no better and we repeat the same mistakes over and over again. My suggestions do not come from an elevated sense of perfection -- FAR FROM IT!! However I am merely acknowledging the fact that the actions we take will make a big difference in the life of others and especially in our own life. So today I encourage all who may read this to expect the best to happen, not imagine the worst; adapt your behavior to suit each circumstance I will tread gently on my fragile emotions, for God has something for each of us to do, despite our limitations and life's uncertainties. Let us rise up and ask what He might want to do or someone to see through us
